In January I introduced you to White Hex and their dark and drowning goth sound, now Jimi Kritzler and Tara Green have some fine updates for us. On June 20 Avant! Records will release their debut LP Heat on 12″. Six songs that the duo likes to call “tropical goth” and each song is a downer to yr mind. You can’t deny White Hex’ background, they both lived in a “decrepit old house for neighborhood criminals, junkies, scumbags and teenagers“. Check out the lead track “Stranger Love“.

My vimeo mate PɨK did a video for another track, “Holiday” is also taken from Heat. It features some rad footage from ‘Birds’, ‘Seats Two’ and ‘Spare Bedroom’ (Frans Zwartjes, 1968, 1970).
