There’s a lot that can happen on a hot summer day in Austin, Texas. Found a band by accident is one thing that would come Caufield Schnug and Lira Mondal to mind. Silkies was born in less than 5 minutes and “Like One” was their first single, Lira on the guitar, Caufield on the drums. After packing up their lifes and moving to Boston to be awesome in career-stuff, they first set up the tone for their following creative outcomes.
